IMPORTING EXISTING DATA

No need to start over by switching to TrapMax from your existing software or spreadsheet system. FDSI can import data into TrapMax even from multiple diskettes or files. It is possible to have YEARS of data at your fingertips after the data is converted into TrapMaxXP! FDSI can import existing data into TrapMaxXP from the following sources:

	Microsoft Excel files.
	Dbf files.
	Some DOS programs.
	Some other steam trap management software packages.
	Text files.
	Comma delimited files.
	Tab delimited files.

FEATURES

	TrapMaxXP is designed for use by entry-level computer users with easy to read buttons, autofill, dropdown lists, and online help.
	TrapMaxXP maintains historical survey, maintenance, and repair data. Older survey information will not be lost when new survey information is entered.
	TrapMaxXP tracks maintenance and repairs separate from surveys while still being linked to the correct survey.
	TrapMaxXP is customizable for your facility for things such as steam cost, make up water costs, etc.
	TrapMaxXP tracks leaks SEPARATELY from the steam trap, (ie, union leaks, packing leaks), and calculates losses for these leaks.
	TrapMaxXP tracks make-up water losses for those traps failed open to the atmosphere or to the pad.
	TrapMaxXP uses a standard formula for calculating steam loss and calculates losses separately for each individual trap or leak based on pressure, differential pressure, orifice size, hours in service, and percent failed open.
	TrapMaxXP allows exporting of reports to other programs such as Microsoft Excel and Word for sharing with others, e-mailing, etc.
	TrapMaxXP has more than 100 standard reports/graphs PLUS the capability of custom queries on both the trap population and survey information.
	TrapMaxXP will communicate (upload/download) to the TrapTech Palm PC for gathering data in the field.
	TrapMaxXP can be used by one user or on a network.
	TrapMaxXP standard reports/graphs are easy for entry-level computer users to generate.
